Lite

One page, you bring the content.

What's included

What you bring

The words and the photos. I draft the page from a short intake form, you edit, we ship. No logo work, no image handling — you supply what you have.

Best for

A side project going serious. A fresh start. A single service that needs to exist on the web and be reachable. The first step on a longer journey — many Lite sites come back as Starter sites when the business grows.

Starter

One page, with a bit of polish.

Everything in Lite, plus

  • Light copy editing — you draft, I polish
  • A logo refresh or a simple favicon if you need one
  • Image handling: I resize, compress, and write alt text
  • FAQPage structured data so Google can show your FAQs in search

Best for

A sole trader with a real business and a single service. The plumber, the counsellor, the driving instructor who needs to look the part when a customer Googles them.

Two weeks from kickoff to live, assuming you can give me an hour at the start for a short call and an hour at the end for review.

Care plan

Keep the site running, with a human at the end of the email.

£25 to £60 a month

What's included

  • Hosting, SSL, security updates — all looked after
  • A monthly change request (30, 60, or 90 minutes depending on tier)
  • Monthly visitor report by email — how many people came, what they looked at, where they came from
  • Quarterly review: I look at the analytics and suggest one small improvement
  • If something breaks, it's fixed without an extra bill

Three sizes

£25/month — for Starter sites, 30 minutes of changes a month.

£40/month — for Standard sites, 60 minutes of changes a month.

£60/month — for sites I didn't build, 90 minutes of changes a month and a one-off handover fee to bring the site onto our stack.

Four tiers, one for each build

The care plan sizes match the build tiers, so a Lite site gets a £20/month plan and a Standard site gets a £40/month plan. You can take the care plan with a site we built, or transfer an existing site onto us.

Annual prepay (save one month)

Pay 11 months, get 12. Same as the monthly plan, paid up front. Saves a month (£20-60 depending on tier) and removes the monthly invoice from your to-do list. Available on request — we send the invoice in Monzo when you ask, and the rate is locked for the year.

How billing works

On the 1st of each month you'll get an invoice by email, with a one-click Monzo payment link. No direct debit, no standing order — just a quick payment each month. If it slips, you'll get a friendly reminder after a week, and a polite nudge after two.

Cancellation

One month's notice, no fee. If you cancel, you keep the site, the domain, and all the content — I just stop looking after it.

Things people ask before saying yes.

Do I own the site when it's done?

Yes. The domain is in your name, the code is yours, the content is yours. If you leave, I hand everything over and you can take it anywhere.

What if I want to add a page later?

Small additions (a new service, a new testimonial) are part of the care plan. Bigger changes (a new section, a new feature) are quoted separately and usually take a week.

Can I edit the site myself?

Not directly — these are static sites, not WordPress. The trade-off is speed, security and price. If you want to edit copy yourself, the care plan covers it; I do it for you within 24 hours.

Why Cloudflare?

It's fast, it's reliable, and it's one account to manage the lot: hosting, the contact form, the analytics, the domain. Cheaper than the alternatives and easier to hand over if I get hit by a bus.

What if I need something you don't offer — bookings, a shop, a portal?

I tell you on the first call. I don't do e-commerce, booking systems, logins or anything with a database. If you need one of those, I'll happily recommend someone who does it well — keeping the recommendation separate from the build is how I stay honest about scope.

How do I pay?

Builds: 50% on signature, 30% on the first draft, 20% on go-live, before the DNS switch. Care plans: billed monthly by invoice with a one-click Monzo payment link, or annually up front (11 months for the price of 12). We send the invoice on the 1st of each month; you click, pay, done.

Can I upgrade to a higher package later?

Yes, at any time. Start on Lite if you need to, and move up to Starter or Standard when the business grows; or bump your care plan from £20 to £40 when the site's working harder. You pay the difference, pro-rated for the time since the last change. No penalty, no re-signing — just an invoice for the upgrade. Downgrades work the same way; we just credit the difference against future invoices.
